Consultations are a good idea!
Consultations let us come up with a plan! You can see some of my sketch and we will discuss your design to be more on the same page. Allows for a more accurate price quote.
Designs are not sent out ahead of time, so those that choose to skip a consultation need to have some trust in the process.
I worked in walk-in style shops for years and vastly prefer this slowed down, appointment-only approach. Having an appointment means we are not being interrupted by walk-in traffic, and I can focus on YOU and your questions. When tattooing, there are no random people gawking or loitering. I do not rush and strive to give you the highest quality work I can.

About sleeves and large scale work
I prefer to work with smaller to medium sized pieces, and am happy to work on a larger project that can take multiple sessions. I can certainly give referrals for large scale work! I do love patchwork stuff, though!
Email is the best way to reach me
At Moon Rae, all artists operate by appointment only, with consultations preferred for most appointments. We do not offer walk-ins or same-day appointments of any kind, and do not book with whichever artist has time the soonest. The shop does not have general “open” hours and we keep the front door locked in order to maintain our appointment-only standard, and to minimize distractions to our artists and increase client comfort.

I do not offer quotes via email as there are too many factors to consider when pricing a piece. You may sign up for a consultation when they are available and a price quote will be given at the consultation appointment. My hourly rate is $175, with a $100 minimum.
